Malouf COVID-19 Official Statement
As we find ourselves in uncertain times, there are actionable steps we are taking as a company to ensure the health and safety of our community, customers, and employees during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our Promise to Our Community
Malouf is classified as an essential business. We provide goods critical to people’s lives by supporting sleep, hygiene, and medical needs. On a daily basis we are fielding inquiries and orders for product to aid in relief efforts as more and more hospitals are converting to COVID-19 response centers.
Our distribution infrastructure is key as other established systems break down or stall. Our network offers two-day shipping to 98 percent of the Continental U.S., which allows us to quickly ship hundreds of mattresses to hospitals and homes across the nation.
Additionally, the Malouf Foundation is continuing to support its charity initiatives to confront child sexual exploitation and is coordinating emergency support for those especially impacted at this time. We will continue to offer aid proactively as the situation evolves.
Our Promise to Our Customers
Our business is fully functional. The sales and customer service teams are available. Our distribution centers are running as normal.
We’re also staying informed of the most effective safety measures from the WHO and CDC. But most important, we’re keeping communication lines clear and open.
Our Promise to Our Employees
Malouf is working to protect the financial livelihood of 500+ employees and their families along with more than 13,000 retail partner locations that provide essential bedding to their communities. Prioritizing the health and safety of our employees and the communities we live and work in is also extremely important.
Last week, we implemented a temporary work-from-home policy for many of our employees as a preventative measure to help curb the spread of COVID-19. For those employees in critical roles, we are checking temperatures daily and maintaining strict hygiene and social distancing guidelines.
A Sleep Company
More so than ever, sleep is essential. To keep our immune systems healthy and strong, experts recommend getting a full eight hours of sleep. There’s no better time than now to work on improving sleep habits for ourselves and our families.
As always, please reach out if you have any concerns or questions. We’re here to help.
